Kitchen remodeler in Mentor, OH

Most Mentor homes date from the 1950s through the 1980s, so kitchens often still have original layouts and tight galley or closed-off floor plans. Our crew opens those walls for better flow, and we rebuild cabinets and counters for daily use in these older split-levels and colonials.

Capozzi Design Build in Mentor, OH

Built for Mentor's Older Homes

Many Mentor homes were built before 1990, so kitchen walls, floor framing, and utility runs often need careful planning. We assess the existing structure before we design layout changes such as removing a wall or relocating a sink.

Mentor's older neighborhoods include ranches, split-levels, and colonials with smaller kitchens. Our kitchen layout and reconfiguration work focuses on squeezing more function out of these footprints without sacrificing storage.

Lakefront properties near the Erie shore add another layer. Humidity off the lake can affect wood cabinetry and finishes, so we discuss material choices with that exposure in mind.
